Oven baked BBQ chicken
This chicken recipe couldn’t be any easier and delicious. I love the simplicity and results. And that is what most of us need when a busy schedule. This oven baked barbecue chicken recipe is fantastic for two or ten, it is perfect for guests or a weeknight meal. The idea of mixing barbecue sauce with hot sauce I got from a food stand, a street food vendor. He sells different types of skewers, and when you buy them, he dips them in some barbecue sauce and hot sauce. I was blowned away by the taste. For this recipe I am using Franks original red hot sauce as my hot sauce ingredient.Ingredients:1/2 chicken1 cup of your favorite bbq sauce2 tablespoons of Frank’s Red Hot Original sauceSalt and pepperPreparation:1. Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Place the chicken in a baking dish and add salt and pepper to all sides. Cover the dish with foil and place in the oven for 1 hour. If you are using chicken pieces, it should be cooked in 40 minutes or so. I test if the chicken is cookedby introducing the tip of a sharp knife near a bone. If the juices run clear, the chicken is cooked, if you see blood, continue cooking.2. While the chicken cooks, mix the barbecue sauce with the hot sauce to create our sauce mixture.3. Brush some of the sauce mixture on the side opposite to the skin side. Bake for 10 minutes.4. Set the oven to 400 degrees. Flip the chicken over, brush it with some sauce, and cook for 10 minutes. Repeat this step on this side (skin side) for at least one more time.Let it rest for a few minutes and it is ready to devour. I served it with some roasted zucchini and corn.Enjoy and have a very BBQ time!Inalvys
